OTD Ticket Defenders Legal Services is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Cambridge team.

 

About Us:

OTD Ticket Defenders Legal Services Professional Corporation is an industry leading paralegal firm specializing in traffic & minor criminal offences. OTD Legal was founded by Ron Harper, a retired Provincial and Municipal Prosecutor, who practised throughout Ontario. After 20 years of public service, Ron left for private practice founding one of the most successful paralegal practices in Ontario. Now, with over 40 years of experience, it would be difficult to imagine a more experienced firm.

 

Qualifications:

Applicant must have a valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong organization skills, exceptional time management skills, the ability to multi-task, strong written and verbal skills, and is computer proficient.

 

Experience:

A minimum of 2-5 years experience in an office as a receptionist, office manager, or administrative assistant is required. Experience in the legal industry, specifically the paralegal industry, is an asset. This is a great opportunity for a paralegal candidate to start their career in the paralegal industry as there is opportunity for a paralegal to grow within the firm.

 

Responsibilities:

General job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Answering multi-line telephone system
  • Greeting clients
  • Preparing boardroom for meetings
  • Data entry
  • Scheduling client meetings
  • Analyzing data
  • Managing client files
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Filing duties
  • All other duties associated with an office Administrative position

 

Job Type:
