What Happens If You Don’t Pay Your Ticket On Time

What happens if you don’t pay your ticket on time? You have 15 days, once you’ve received a ticket, to respond to that ticket and pay that ticket. If you do not do that in 15 days, you will be convicted. Now that you’re convicted, the court will give you an additional 15 days to pay the fine. At the end of that next 15 day period, you will then be burdened with what’s called an administrative fee over and above the fine for that ticket.

If that goes on further, what will happen is the court will then suspend your license and you will be unable to drive.
